This blue-chip chartered practice presents an opportunity for a Tax Intermediate who is ready to take the next step in operational responsibility and technical training.

Our client, a highly regarded Chartered firm of twenty-five staff, focuses on providing strategy, tax and compliance services to a broad range of corporate clients.
The directors are well known leaders in the tax and accounting profession in Western Australia. They have an enviable client base as a legacy of their Big 4 background. They and their professional staff provide assistance to company decision makers in strategy formulation, corporate structural decisions, tax issues and compliance.
A “career step” opportunity has been created for a Tax Intermediate to join their team with a view to transitioning to a Tax Senior role on 1st July of this year.
Initially, as a Tax Intermediate you will report to an experienced Tax Manager and have responsibility for direct day-to-day tax and compliance services to an entrepreneurial client group. Additionally, you will prepare supporting analysis (Excel and MYOB) to assist in client strategy discussions as provided by the Directors and Managers.
Success in this role will be underpinned by;
- Your chartered or CPA qualifications (or studying towards)
- A minimum two years of tax and accounting experience
- Exposure to the development of tax strategies
- Experience with the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts and self-managed super funds
- Client communication skills
- Your enthusiasm for a professional challenge
